Since the topic of my blog/projects is me, I have decided that I should only put pictures of myself along with my friends in this collage draft. I did this to show give a small glimpse into my life and school. Every single picture shows a part of my life at one point or another. The picture in the middle for example is from when I used to me an Aeronautics major at Kent. This picture was taken immediately after I landed back at the airport after my first solo flight ever.
To create this collage, I had to look up a video tutorial and watch it while I was doing it. I will be a link to this tutorial at the end of this post for anyone interested. I first started by creating a 780 x 600 pixels image followed by adding guide lines from the New Guide Layout tab under View. I created two columns and two rows in this guide layout after which I started adding new layers and selecting each rectangle I created with the guide lines. I filled in each rectangle with colors to distinguish them from one another and made different layers for each one of them.
Once the rectangles were done and filled up with colors I made a circle in the middle of it by holding down the shift key and using the mouse to drag it out and enlarge it. Just like the rectangles, this circle had to be filled up with a color as well. Once done with that, I started putting a stroke around the triangles and the circle with the help of the single row marquee tool or simply by right clicking on the circle and putting a stroke around it from there. There were lines going through the middle of the circle, so, obviously I had to remove them because they would end up showing in the final product and cut up my picture in small pieces. To remove thee lines I had to select the pixels in the last layer of the picture and then go to edit and cut them. At this point pretty much, the entire collage is done except for the pictures, the basic template for it is complete and the only thing left was to throw in the pictures and adjust them to the part of the collage I wanted to put them on.

Putting the pictures on the collage was the easiest part. All I had to do is throw them on the collage and place them right above the layer/corner of the collage that I wanted them to be on. Once the pictures were on the collage I only had to adjust them with the help of the shift key and then place them where I wanted them.
